My favorite writer is "Martin Wickramasinghe". he is the best writer in Sri Lanka.  Martin Wickramasinghe Is an author who has taken Sri Lankan literature and art in a new direction. A pioneer of the Sinhala realist novel, he was born in the village of Koggala in Southern Sri Lanka. he can be described as a novelist, short story writer, critic, and journalist. he was an intellectual who understood the importance of science. he pointed out that the advancement of science would i lead to the progress of the country.

Three Friends and a fishermen  A large pond has many fishes living in it, Of all these fishes, three are best friends, who are always together. They never leave the side of each other. Once a day, a fisherman came to that pond. he was seeing lots of fish after he invites other fishermen to come with nets. The three fishes worry about getting caught and killed by the fishermen.  The wise fish amongst them says, "We must find another pond and quickly move from here". " while one fish agrees, the other one is reluctant as he feels that this pond is their home. He says, "We should not behave cowardly, this pond is our home". The other two fish try hard to convince their friend, but they fail. So they decide to part ways and leave in search of a new pond.on the following day, when the fisherman arrives, the fish, who was unwilling to leave, gets caught and dies. .................................................................THE END....................................

                                            Father and Sons                                        A father had a family of sons who were perpetual quarreling among themselves. When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion. One day he told his sons to bring him a bundle of sicks. When they had done so, he placed the fagot into the hands of each of them in succession and ordered them to break it into pieces. They tried with all their strength and weren't able to do it.   Non-Verbal Communication All of us communicate non-verbally. If irritated, we may tense our bodies, press our lips together, and gesture with our eyebrows, with a gaze, a glance or stare we can communicate intimacy, submission, or dominance. Most of us are good at "reading" non-verbal cues to understand the emotions in an old silent film. we are especially good at detecting non-verbal threats, In a crowd of faces, a single angry face will "pop-out" faster than a single happy one. Some of us are more sensitive to these cues than others.   The ANT and DOVE One hot day, an ant was searching for some water. After walking around for some time,  she came to a spring.to reach the spring, she had to climb up a blade of grass. While making her way up, she slipped and fell into the water.  She could have drowned if a dove up a nearby tree had not seen her. Seeing that the ant was in trouble, the dove quickly plucked a leaf and dropped it into the water near the struggling ant. The ant moved towards the leaf and climbed up onto it. Soon, the leaf drifted to dry ground, and the ant jumped out. She was safe at last.  Just at that time, a hunter nearby was about to throw his net over the dove, hoping to trap it. Guessing what he was about to do, the ant quickly bit him on the heel. Feeling the pain, the hunter dropped his net. The dove was quick to fly away to safety. 

  THE CULTURE Culture is unique and unique from one country to another, from one nation to another. It is possible to identify a person, a country, or a nation through cultural elements.                                                        Culture Differences also, dress, lifestyles, beliefs, etc.. will help as culture identifiable criteria.  all of the persons have a unique culture and all countries have a culture. but the problem is today, those cultures seem to be on the verge of extinction. So peoples have some responsibility and accountability to avoid our cultures.

  English is Very Important  English is one of the languages in our world. we can be introduced English as a global and useful language. because all of the countries use English and people wants to improve own English skills. language is important it is one of the main ways to communicate and interact with other people. English language is an example of the importance of a language because it is an international language and has become the most important language in many human lives.

 Mother Theresa Mother Theresa is internationally for her work to relieve the suffering of the poor, the sick, and dying. she begins her work of helping the desperately poor of India by bringing dying persons from the streets into a home, where they could die in peace and dignity. She also established an orphanage. Through her untiring efforts, she succeeded in forming a congregation of sisters whose  work has now spread to five continents.  she was born in Skipje,Albania, on August 27 , 1910 and was named Agnes Gonxha Bejaxhini.She left her home at the age 18 to join the institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dublin .

  HOME ALONE Once a day MR. and MRS. Perera went to participate in a wedding. they have two sons. Jack and  Tom. Jack and Tom were all alone in the house. that day midnight, the bell rang.
